An exclusive interview with the CEO Cyrus Cake Empire.

During the course of the week, we had an exclusive interview with  the Cake Man, it was an amazing time with him were we got to know him more and explored some of his mouthwatering piece of art translated in cake. 
Indeed, cake making has been giving a new lift and dimension in Kano state, northern Nigeria and in the nation as a whole and it's no doubt that Cyrus Cake Empire is a brand to reckon with in the industry of cake making.

"My name is Cyrus Michael Chijioke Okoro, am from Abia State, Nigeria."

- Tell us about your educational background

Cake Man
"I attended ECWA nursery and primary school, mission road Kano, Kano state.
ECWA Baba Alhamdu Secondary School, Kano, Kano State. 
Studied Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Jos, plateau state, then transferred to college of Medicine, Ambrose Alli University, Emkpoma, Edo State. Where I rounded up and obtained Bachelor's degree in Haematology and blood transfusion medicine."

-  What do you like doing in your spare time?

Cake Man
"Watch video tutorials, learn something new, creative thinking and writing, hit the gym,dance, sleep, see a movie depending on my days scheduled plan."

 You spent time in school reading and preparing for your medical career, why the switch?


Cake Man
 I didn't choose any over the other. Because both professions are unique and distinct.  However, I chose to explore the baking because it gives me the liberty to express my creativity in diverse ways

"I'm married to my best friend. The girl of my Dreams, in my dreams and for my dreams. 😍"

- If you were to change your name, what would you change your name to?

Cake Man
"Mr. Cyrus Versatile,  will be just it."

- What pet would you love to have or do you have?

Cake Man
"Would love to have dogs, exotic breeds."

- Who or what inspired you into baking?

Cake Man
"My elder sister Pauline, a dear friend of mine, Lisa and my quest for learning and doing something new."

- What other languages do you speak?

"Igbo and a bit of Hausa."

"Yes I am"

- What sports do you enjoy doing?

"Basketball"

"Don't have any in particular, as long as it makes me dance 😂"

"Obudu cattle ranch"

- If you weren't into baking, what would you be up to right now?

Cake Man
"Quite a handful of other things I could be doing. Acting movies, working in a hospital, TV and radio presenter, events management, stage set designs."

 Throw light into entrepreneurship as major tool for  industrialization?

Cake Man
-The Nigerian educational system sadly educates to employ instead of educating to empower.  Which   is why most grauduates go to school so the cab get a good job. And Nigeria as a nation is a nation   that is orchestrated to administrate and not produce.  Which is why we have very few who are into   production and a mirad of other who want office jobs.  
 Entrepreneurship is a the major tool for Industrializion as it creates an avenue for production with in   turn creates job opportunities
